GLADIUS, the multi-platinum producer and composer behind 2024’s cinematic Planet Horizon project – and the hit song “Miroh” by K-pop giants Stray Kids – just dropped a serious curveball. Known for his orchestral-meets-electronic sound with credits spanning Daft Punk, Iggy Azalea, Avicii, and Rita Ora, he’s now entered new territory with UNBREAKABLE, premiered by Don Diablo on Hexagon Radio.
The track was highlighted as DemoDay Track of the Week, with Diablo noting:
“It’s not his first rodeo, he’s been making music for a while for many artists and labels, commercial projects… but with gladius it’s the first time he fully focused on making music he loves listening to himself.”
For someone who’s shaped global hits, scored for video games like Forza and Gangstar Vegas, and placed music in shows like Teen Wolf and BoJack Horseman, UNBREAKABLE feels like both a release and a reset. Led by a fierce female vocal and backed by a high-impact instrumental that resists easy categorization, the track is equal parts cinematic and rave-floor ready.
GLADIUS also posted a teaser video alongside the radio premiere – visuals hinting at an MMA-style showdown. Whether it’s the official video or not, it lines up with the track’s title: this is music about refusing to fold.
After Planet Horizon introduced a more ambient, atmospheric side of his work, UNBREAKABLE reminds us that GLADIUS isn’t locked into any lane. If anything, this is the sound of someone breaking his own mold – loudly.
