Forest Tales (Adventure Comes) – A Cinematic Fusion of Emotion and Adventure

French artists Nicolas Cazaux and Madeleen bring their unique musical collaboration to life with their new track, Forest Tales (Adventure Comes). This release combines Cazaux’s skill in cinematic compositions with Madeleen’s expressive vocals, resulting in a piece that strikes a perfect balance between adventure and spirituality.

Cazaux, known for his work on documentary scores, draws inspiration from film score legends like Two Steps from Hell for the epic tone of the track and John Powell for the sense of adventure. What makes this track stand out is Madeleen’s voice, which adds a spiritual and ethnic layer to the music. Influenced by artists like Lisa Gerrard and Ekaterina Shelehova, her vocals create a mystical atmosphere that complements the brass, percussion, and delicate sounds of flutes and glockenspiel.

The track unfolds like a story, guiding the listener through a magical landscape filled with both adventure and mystery. The creative process was equally innovative, with the artists using Muse software to collaborate remotely. This allowed Cazaux to record Madeleen’s vocals from her home studio with impressive clarity, creating a smooth, connected workflow despite being in different locations.

Forest Tales (Adventure Comes) fits well in film or video game soundtracks, where it can bring a sense of adventure and depth to a visual narrative. The rich soundscapes and emotional weight of the track offer more than just music; they pull listeners into the world it creates.

With plans to incorporate live orchestras in future projects, this track shows the promising direction for Cazaux and Madeleen’s musical journey.
