The soundtrack for Francis Ford Coppola’s highly anticipated film Megalopolis will be available on September 27, 2024. Composed by Osvaldo Golijov, who earlier collaborated with Coppola on Youth Without Youth and Tetro, the score was recorded with a large symphonic orchestra in Budapest. Golijov’s composition promises a grand and cinematic experience that reflects the scale of Coppola’s ambitious project.
The film itself will premiere on September 27, 2024, in the U.S. Additionally, a part of Golijov’s score, titled the Megalopolis Suite, will be performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in November 2024, offering a preview of the film’s musical landscape.
The soundtrack will be available for streaming on all major platforms starting September 27, 2024.
