CJ Mirra Takes the Helm for Rescue: HI-Surf Soundtrack


Award-winning composer CJ Mirra has been appointed to score the upcoming FOX drama Rescue: HI-Surf, a thrilling series that dives into the lives of lifeguards on O’ahu’s treacherous North Shore. Known for his work on projects like A Banquet and Make or Break, Mirra brings his distinctive style to this gripping narrative.

Created by Matt Kester, Rescue: HI-Surf features a talented cast including Robbie Magasiva, Arielle Kebbel, and Adam Demos, alongside emerging stars Alex Aiono, Kekoa Kekumano, and Zoe Cipres. The show explores the intricate balance between the lifeguards’ personal lives and their demanding professional responsibilities, set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most renowned and perilous coastlines.

The production is backed by Warner Bros. Television and FOX Entertainment Studios, with John Wells and Daniele Nathanson serving as co-showrunners. Wells, known for his acclaimed work on ER and The West Wing, adds a wealth of experience to the project, while Nathanson brings his expertise from shows like Animal Kingdom.
