Max Season – Spring 2025

“Spring 2025” is the first track in Max Season’s project Cycles, a musical journal composed as the seasons close. Released on the summer solstice, the piece is a way of gently sealing off the spring before it slips from memory. It isn’t about reacting in the moment, but about looking back once the dust has settled.

This is music meant for that in-between space – after something has ended but before it has been processed. “Spring 2025” captures that feeling with understated atmosphere, minimal arrangement, and a calm that edges on introspection. It’s not designed for quick impressions. The piece works best played alone, late, or on a walk, when recollection naturally rises.

Max Season has worked behind the scenes for a decade, producing, arranging, and guiding the sound of others. With Cycles, he turns the focus inward, shaping music that functions less like a performance and more like a timestamp. Each track from the project will drop just as a season ends, inviting the listener to reflect rather than react.

Musically, it leans toward ambient, lo-fi, and slowcore influences – genres that don’t demand attention but reward it. The track fits well in experimental film, diary-style video, or as an audio log in a narrative-driven game. It doesn’t announce itself; it lets the mood settle in.
