EA SPORTS FC™ 25 Soundtrack: A Global Celebration of Music

Today marks the highly anticipated release of the official soundtrack for EA SPORTS FC™ 25, the latest installment in the iconic EA Sports football series. Featuring an eclectic mix of 117 songs* from artists across 27 countries, the soundtrack celebrates a diverse array of genres, cultures, and global sounds. With artists like Billie Eilish, Fred again.., Ice Spice, Charli XCX, Glass Animals, J Balvin, JUMADIBA, and Obongjayar, EA SPORTS FC™ 25 promises to deliver a groundbreaking musical experience for players worldwide.

Since the introduction of soundtracks in EA’s football games in 1997, they have become a cultural touchstone, giving a platform to both established and emerging artists. The EA SPORTS FC™ 25 soundtrack continues this tradition by spotlighting new talent and musical experimentation, from Elyanna’s Arabic-Latin pop fusion to South African artist Moonchild Sanelly’s futuristic ghetto funk, to Afro-Colombian group Kombilesa Mi’s fusion of Palenque music and urban rap.

Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive and President of Music for Electronic Arts, shared the vision behind the music: “FC 25 is a global celebration of new music that erases borders, embraces multiple genres, and delivers several surprises. The EA Music team has spent nearly a year curating an epic soundtrack that will define the sound of the coming season and elevate the spirit of the game like never before.”

Artists and Global Influence

This year’s soundtrack features major international stars such as Billie Eilish, two-time Oscar winner; Fred again.., a British super producer; and reggaeton icon J Balvin. Notable additions also include Mercury Prize-nominated artist FKA Twigs and Japanese drill rapper JUMADIBA. The spotlight on diverse and global sounds is at the heart of FC 25, as evidenced by the inclusion of Spanish all-female rock band Hinds, and jungle revivalist Nia Archives.

In addition to superstar artists, the soundtrack features many lesser-known but influential global artists. Unreleased tracks by Coldplay, Delfina Dib, and Catfish and the Bottlemen further boost the soundtrack’s relevance, adding layers of anticipation to the game’s musical appeal. Dib, who features prominently on the tracklist, expressed her excitement: “There are so many amazing global artists on the FC 25 soundtrack and it’s truly incredible that two of my songs were included this year. Every year, the tracklist becomes more and more international, and to feature alongside some of my heroes is a dream come true.”

J Balvin echoed these sentiments, saying, “It feels incredible to be featured in such an iconic game. Having my music be part of the FC 25 soundtrack and sharing this honor with so many other talented global artists is something I’ll never forget.”

EA SPORTS and Spotify Collaboration

For the third year in a row, EA SPORTS has collaborated with Spotify, one of the world’s leading streaming platforms, to bring the FC 25 soundtrack to life. This collaboration gives players and fans more access to the soundtrack, ensuring it can be enjoyed beyond the game itself. The full soundtrack is available on Spotify, and the two brands will continue to work together to bridge the worlds of football and music in new and exciting ways.
