Francesco Trento’s In Omeostasi is a home-recorded debut EP shaped by piano, feeling, and processed detail. The Italian composer from Bassano del Grappa recorded the project entirely at home on his historic Yamaha U3, using simple equipment and a personal idea he reduces to one word: heart. The music follows that idea closely. It sounds intimate, careful, and emotional, with classic piano writing touched by electronic texture.

Trento names Nils Frahm, Ludovico Einaudi, Hania Rani, and Vangelis as important influences, artists whose piano sounds have accompanied him through life. In Omeostasi sits naturally in that contemporary piano world, with its own home-made character. The piano stays central, and the surrounding textures add shimmer, air, low-end warmth, and small atmospheric changes.

“Meditation” has a slow, meditative piano mood, with long soft chords and a repeated arpeggio contributing to its calm focus. “Amalia” leans slower and more emotional, with soaring strings and a feeling where sadness and hope sit close together.

“Lung” brings peaceful, feel-good energy through piano and shimmering effects spread across the stereo field. “Soffice come l’erba” has a hopeful, almost triumphant feeling, giving the EP one of its brighter emotional moments.

“Adieu Bolognaise” moves closer to ambient music. Synth pads, warm analog low end, wind-like tones, and stretched bell-like sounds give the track a wider atmosphere. It still belongs to the same piano-led world, only with the edges softened and expanded.
