Eyal Erlich – Live at Levontin #2

Eyal Erlich has been building his name through shows and a writing style that stays close to the way he plays: direct, plainspoken, and shaped around the voice. The Levontin #2 session shows him with his band: Omer Hershman on electric guitar, Adi Gigi on bass, Barak Kram on drums, running through four songs.

“All in All” starts in a quiet place. Erlich plays a steady acoustic pattern while Hershman colors the edges with short lines that sit just behind him. Kram keeps to light cymbal work, focusing on the texture. When the vocal enters, the song picks up a slow Americana feel, the kind you’d expect in a late-night scene or a quiet roadside moment. The band keeps the focus on the mood of the melody.

“Jenny” opens with a short lead before Erlich comes in. The chords shift in a way that gives the song a slightly unstable feel, which works with how he shapes the vocal. It’s the most dramatic performance in the set, moving between gentle phrasing and a more open, soulful delivery.

“Already In” is lighter and more melodic. The rhythm section gives it a soft lift, and Erlich sings it like a simple love song without stretching it. The band stays close to him, keeping the track human.

“I Wish I Knew” closes the session in a slower, more reflective sound. Hershman leaves long pauses between his phrases, and Gigi keeps the bass line low and steady. Erlich’s vocal stays close to the mic, giving the song an intimate feel.

All four performances sit in a space that would work naturally for film or TV, slow pacing, clear emotional throughlines, and arrangements that never crowd the vocal. It’s a clean snapshot of what Erlich does best: steady songs played with no unnecessary decoration.
